Your role of Finance Systems Support Analyst will focus on supporting the Finance Systems & Process Manager in ensuring business processes and systems are operating effectively and efficiently to provide accurate and reliable business and financial information to aid business decisions as Freedom Fibre grows. The role will involve carrying out regular checks on adherence to agreed standards and operating methods, analysing systems usage and information, assessing data risks and mapping processes to ensure business systems and processes are compliant.
Acting as the early warning, to enable effective corrective action to be taken. Ensuring business systems that affect our financial information are providing reliable and accurate data to support business performance and business decision making. You will also be involved in supporting all business system users, across the business that impact on our financial metrics.
The role will offer exposure to all core operational and financial business processes within Freedom Fibre providing an excellent career opportunity to either develop within the function or into other parts of the business.
Provide a “feet on the ground” approach to supporting the day-to-day operation of business systems.
Ensure business systems provide accurate and timely information.
Work with Finance Systems & Process Manager to ensure the business systems are delivering the right information.
Work with the Finance team to mitigate financial risks which are related to poor systems or processes resulting from internal or external audit.
Work with Finance Systems & Process Manager to ensure we retain integrity, control and develop further solutions to support the business by achieving its targets as efficiently as possible.
Deal with system queries from telephone, face to face and emails.
Work as part of a team to implement system configurations.
Identify opportunities for system/process improvements.
Support the Finance Systems & Process Manager as required.

Experience & Qualifications
Recent graduate in Business Information Systems or similar degree.
Digitally literate with strong IT skills (i.e. proficient use of Microsoft products).
Construction sector experience (desirable).
Process mapping (desirable).
Business Processes – Purchase to Pay and / or customer to cash (desirable).
Ability to work in a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Methodical approach to problem solving.
