Full-fibre to the premises (FFTP) is transformational. Not to be confused with Fibre or Infinity which still uses the old copper wires from roadside cabinets, full-fibre delivers over 500Mbits with exceptional reliability to residences and businesses alike.

As Freedom Fibre’s new full-fibre network grows into Irlam and Cadishead, Chief Executive Officer, Neil McArthur comments on their expansion into an area so close to his heart.

“I am absolutely delighted that we have been able to secure the funds to deliver our full-fibre network to the 9000 homes and businesses of Irlam & Cadishead. The copper networks have reached the end of their lives and need replacing, our new network will bring significantly upgraded, ultra-fast, reliable and affordable internet connectivity to an area exceptionally close to my heart. I was born and schooled in Irlam. I have since spent most of my working life on the Northbank Estate, firstly at Thurnall Engineering, followed by Opal telecom, then TalkTalk and now Freedom Fibre. It’s great to be involved in driving the expansion of the Freedom Fibre full-fibre network in my hometown, knowing my businesses, friends and neighbours will all enjoy the benefits.”

If you’re interested in boosting your broadband experience, register your interest today and you could be going live as early as Spring 2022 with average speeds of up to 500Mb/s.

Network upgrades always sound impressive at launch, but normal usage tells a harder truth once the service becomes part of daily routine. While comparing providers, I spent time with q link wireless reviews rather than relying only on rollout promises and speed claims. That perspective carries more weight for me than headlines do. Reliability shows itself over weeks and months, not during the first day of setup.
