Head of B2B – Irlam, Manchester




The Role

The Head of B2B will be responsible for supporting the Senior Leadership Team in leading commercial and operational matters with TalkTalk and other ISPs, along with forming a capable team to enable Freedom Fibre to grow this important revenue stream and offering.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Commercial lead for B2B product offering.

  • Establish a B2B function/team.

  • B2B Customer Account Management.

  • Support development and implementation of the Freedom Fibre B2B strategy.

B2B Key Result Areas

  • Penetration and connections

  • Revenue and ARPU

  • Profitability

  • Return on Capital employed

  • Migration/new acquisition

  • SLA adherence

  • Retention and churn


Reporting To

Chief Executive Officer


Relevant Experience

  • Designed and implemented sales and marketing strategies.

  • Recruited and managed a channel/partner sales team in B2B telecoms.

  • Knowledge of both B2B sales and channel marketing, i.e., what is needed to build a successful third party. (partner) sales channel (important, as channel sales different to direct sales).

  • Ability to provide reliable and accurate sales forecasts.

  • Track record of meeting sales targets at a personal and team level.

  • Senior Commercial role within a B2B telecoms business e.g., Daisy or similar.

  • Excellent at developing long lasting working relationships based on openness and trust.

  • Innovative, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated with the ability to work proactively using own initiative.

  • Strong leadership skills and experience of developing teams and individuals.

  • Ability to influence at a senior level, both internally and externally.
