The role is integral to the Build delivery team, and the QS will take responsibility for the commercial administration of multiple contracts.
All commercial activities including subcontractor tendering, cost analysis and reconciliation of invoices.
The production of cost/value analysis reports for the projects monthly during the whole life cycle of the project (CVR Reports).
Producing monthly reports to the business on key performance indicators on for cost & sales, cost analysis and common trends.
The costing of variations through the project life cycle.
Subcontractor contract and cost analysis.
Ensuring project works/sites are built within budget without quality being compromised and conducting where possible post implementation reviews with the project teams to maximise any commercial opportunities.
Keeping work in progress to a minimum by ensuring invoicing is up to date.
You will act as a focal point for data requests under the contract and will set up a system for collating data and analysing trends; managing expectations and maximising opportunities that may arise.
The day-to-day Management of commercial and contract activities.
Commercial forecasting and reporting, including maintaining the risk register.
Using the contract appropriately to satisfy entitlements and minimise risk exposure.
Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) (essential).
Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) (desirable).
BTEC or HND/HNC (essential).
BSc (HONS) / MSc-Pg Dip (desirable).
Experience of working in a commercial/build environment.
Good commercial acumen.

Good IT Skills High level with Excel (Office Suite).
Supplier Relationship Management Skills.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience required.
Excellent Knowledge of costing systems and Office 365.
