LoC & Wayleaves Officer, Manchester




The Role

As the LoC & Wayleaves officer, you will be responsible for the managing of Land Registry data and reporting for Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs) ownership. This will involve owning the relationship with key stakeholders within the business to ensure we are able to deliver on our large MDU releases.



Core Responsibilities

  • Create Land Registry documents that provide detailed ownership information for the wider business

  • Make use of Land Registry, planning authority and utility company websites to assist the field teams with site acquisitions and planning

  • Manage the Wayleaves inbox and pick up Wayleaves queries

  • Highlight priority Wayleaves that will have a direct impact on deliverables for the team

  • Accurately complete and submit Wayleave documents

  • Collate and submit applications to external utility companies

  • Proactively monitor and pursue outstanding information by phone or email

  • Provide weekly status reports for tasks in progress

  • Liaise with internal colleagues and external consultants

Senior LoC & Wayleaves Officer



Skills and Experience

  • Telecoms experience

  • Experience working to delivery timescales and the confidence to challenge delays in process

  • Adaptable and have experience in handling data

  • Good understanding of Wayleaves and the challenges that are present in the delivery of a Fibre network

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills

  • Attention to detail and a persistent approach to following up enquiries

  • A team player
