Creating a legacy – Freedom Fibre attends Irlam & Cadishead Academy Careers Fair

To Freedom Fibre, making smart investments also means investing in great people. Providing opportunities for young people is so important in bringing fresh thinking, energy and enthusiasm together with the values that drive our business and build a legacy to be proud of.

On Friday 1st April Freedom Fibre took part in ICA’s first Careers Fair with other local employers and colleges, providing information and advice to Years 9, 10 and 11 regarding future employment and career pathways.

This was a fantastic event that gave us a chance to chat to students about their aspirations, the telecoms industry and possible career pathways, as well as opportunities within Freedom Fibre itself. And we’re so happy to say that many students have since provided their contact details, wanting to hear more about future employment possibilities with us.

It was also a great opportunity to connect with the Hamilton Davies Trust – a charity that funds development projects within the local community – and meet some more representatives from the UK Government’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport who we work closely with on a scheme they run to help fund full-fibre network installation in rural and slow internet speed areas.

Thank you to Irlam and Cadishead Academy for including us in this exciting initiative and we look forward to working with you in the future.
